1. How much does it cost to use the Bluetree Legal Connect attorney marketplace?

Using our attorney marketplace to find legal counsel and representation is 100% FREE.

2. What do I need to start looking for an attorney in California on your platform?

All you need to find an attorney on our marketplace is an email address.

3. How long does it take to find an attorney in California for Personal Injury for example?

Searching for an attorney and scheduling a consultation takes about 3 minutes on average. It's really fast and incredibly easy!

4. I am an out of state resident, can I still use your service to find an attorney in California?

Yes! You can search our attorney marketplace worldwide to find an attorney in California.

5. Can I take my attorney consultation by video conference or a similar method?

Our platform primarily facilitates phone and in-person consultations, but you can certainly work out an alternative method of communication between you and the California attorney you have chosen.

6. What happens if the 30 minute free attorney consultation goes on longer than the free 30 minutes?

Anything past the free 30 minutes will be determined by you and the attorney you are meeting with. Try to plan and organize the notes of your legal matter so you can efficiently utilize the free consultation time.

7. What if I do not retain a California attorney after the consultation?

You are under no obligations to retain an attorney after the consultation.

8. Is there a limit to the number of consultations I can make with different California attorneys?

Absolutely not. Keep searching until you find the right person to represent your legal needs.

9. What if I have to cancel or reschedule a consultation that I had previously confirmed?

You can cancel or reschedule a consultation at any time. We generally like to encourage a 48 hour notice of any cancellation or reschedule.

10. Can I allow anyone to use my profile?

Our security policy requires one email per user.

11. What if I have a compliant against a California attorney I retained from your attorney marketplace?

Any complaint should be first filed with the State Bar of California or where the attorney is authorized to practice law. You are also encouraged to bring your complaint to our attention. Working with the State Bar of California we will determine whether to remove the attorney from our platform.

12. Are you guys hiring? How can I join the Bluetree Legal Connect team?

Go to our Careers page and you can start from there. Our ideal candidate is someone who is collaborative yet able to operate autonomously toward collective goals. We like to keep things pretty chill and focused with very little individual management.

1. I am a California attorney, how do I sign up to the Bluetree Legal Connect attorney marketplace?

You need is to be a licensed attorney in California with no record of disciplinary action. Beyond that, all you will need is an email address to sign up to start using our attorney marketplace platform.

2. How much does it cost to use the attorney marketplace platform?

As an early adopter, you can start using our platform for free for the first year. After that we will charge a yearly registration fee. Please visit our Terms of Use for more information.

3. How long does it take to join Bluetree Legal Connect?

It takes no longer than 5 minutes to sign up!

4. Can I still use your platform if I will NOT offer the 30 minutes free consultation?

No. Offering a free 30 minute consultation is a condition for joining our platform.

5. What if I have to cancel or reschedule a consultation that I had previously confirmed?

You can cancel or reschedule a consultation at any time. We generally like to encourage a 48 hour notice of any cancellation or reschedule.

6. Can I take my client consultation by video conference or a similar method?

Our platform primarily facilitates phone and in-person consultations, but you can certainly work out an alternative method of communication between you and the potential client you will be meeting.

7. What happens after I retain a client from your platform?

At this point the relationship is between you and the client and whatever agreement is established. Our primary function is to bring the two parties together. Anything beyond that is no longer our responsibility unless a complaint is filed against you.

8. Does your platform handle issues such as payment disputes or collections?

No. Our platform does not handle any attorney-client disputes, collection issues, or complaints filed by attorneys toward clients.

9. How do potential clients find me on Bluetree Legal Connect?

The great thing about our attorney marketplace is the ease in which we make you accessible to clients who are actively looking for legal representation. Clients can find you by the distance from their primary location, by language(s), years of experience, and more!

10. Is there a cap on the number of clients I can retain through your attorney marketplace platform?

No. If you can provide quality legal services at scale there is no cap to the number of consultations you can generate with our platform.

11. If I am NOT a licensed attorney in California, can I still use your attorney marketplace service if I am licensed elsewhere in the U.S.?
